Grand Canyon & the Town of Tusayan
The Heart of the Town of Tusayan
At the edge of the high-country forest, where ponderosa pines whisper and the road slows, there is a town that exists for a reason. The Town of Tusayan sits on the doorstep of the Grand Canyon National Park, not as a backdrop, not as a footnote, but as a living, working community that quietly prepares people for one of the most powerful landscapes on Earth.
- This is where travelers arrive before sunrise.
- This is where they return after sunset.
- This is where journeys pause, reset, and continue.
Driving Route 66 has always been about more than miles. It’s about the moments between destinations and the towns that hold space for travelers, the people who keep the lights on, the meals warm, the doors open. Tusayan is one of those places.
Here, employees show up every day to serve people they may never meet again yet treat them like they matter. Locals choose to live here not because it’ss easy, but because it’s meaningful. Travelers arrive expecting another sightseeing stop, and leave with a memory that will last a lifetime
We are committed to sharing those stories.
- Not curated highlights.
- Not scripted promotions.
- But real voices spoken in real moments, by travelers discovering Route 66, by employees who work at the doorsetp of the Grand Canyon, and by people who call this place home
